Concept Of NAEEES
In every tertiary institutions in Nigeria alongside all the courses offered in that institution, the are usually(local) associations setup in every department which the norms and values of the association is in line with the vision of the department, this association is aimed at proposing to the students to start being and living the life of their profession right in school. In the strength of this information and on this note we will be traveling down to the faculty of Engineering, considering the association in Electrical Electronics Engineering department.
Meaning Of NAEEES
association is called
The association shall be called;
National Association of Electrical Electronics Engineering Students, alternatively called NAEEES in abbreviation.
Its comprises of the the entire registered students of the school and the department meaning when once you are recognized as students of that department by virtue of you meeting up to the admission requirements and standard of the school, you automatically become a bona-fide member of the association. This association have an executive governing body(which are also students) who are in charge of running the affairs of the association in line with the vision of the department, which above all things entails the making of future engineers , e.g by organizing academic programs relating to their professional course of study there by, bringing the students to the limelight of the reality of what they are the studying or organizing excursion programs, etc.
The association(NAEEES) is under the department but it is run/managed entirely outskirts the bandwidth of departmental influence by the executive governing body, the duty of the department as touching the association administration to extend is to correct the excess if any, making sure that the vision of the department(Association) and its reputation is preserved. The smooth running and administrative success/achievement of the association is as a result of a strick adherence to the constitutional demand which has binding forces on all its members.

PREAMBLE
We the student of national Association of electrical and electronics engineering student (NAEEES) nasarawa state Polytechnic chapter, desirous of the advancement of understanding, peace, unity, stability, corporation, and progress among ourselves and having firmly resolve to join together as an indivisible body(Association), indeed do hearby make, enact and give ourselves the Association the following constitution

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
1 To maintain unity among members as a means of achieving desired objectives
2 to provide a platform for the improvement of knowledge of the members of the most modern techniques in the practice of Engineering technology in doing this the NAEEES shall Organise for its members and the general public such events as symposium, debate, lectures, film, shows, conference, training, courses, excursions and other relevant programs
3 to seek the welfare of the members of the association by looking into the members problems and making representation and recommendation to the appropriate authorities on ways and means of achieving desired objectives
4 to stimulate public opinion on matters affecting electrical and electronic engineering technology in the States, Nigeria and hence ensure the upliftment of the state of the profession.

CONDITIONS FOR MEMBERSHIP
All members admitted into electrical electronics engineering or whatever name it may be called in future in the Polytechnic regardless of the class of admission automatically become members of the association from the day of commencement of the session in which they were admitted

1 each new membership a annual registration fee of 400 naira only at the departmental registration table

The NAEEES shall have patron and patroness who shall have the interest of all the Association at heart

A. EXECUTIVE COUNCIL MEETING
There shall be an executive Council meeting by the executive Council which are elected officers and class representatives whenever demanded

B. GENERAL MEETING
1. There shall be a general meeting of all members of the association at least twice or more in a semester

The executive committee shall meet as often as the time permits

An emergency meeting of any of the above shall be hold whenever necessary

E. QUORUM:
Two-third (2/3) of NAEEES members shall form a qourum for both the general and executive meetings

F. CONDUCT AT MEETINGS
a) Minutes of the immediate preceding meeting shall be read corrected and adopted at the beginning of every meeting
b) Every member shall be expected to sign the attendance register at every meeting
C) The official language shall be the unadulterated but common spoken English
d) A speaker shall stand when speaking at the permission of the president and the house shall give him audience while addressing the assembly
e) Random and indiscipline movement shall not be permitted by the SSS when a meeting is in progress
f) The president shall not be interrupted rudely but he must listen and give attention to all

G. DISCIPLINE:
i) absent from any meeting without any reasonable and acceptable Reasons by the president shall ensure the sum of 50 naira for members and 100 naira for EXCO and 200 naira for any EXCO found absent from meetings
ii) for every misbehavior in the meeting shall encounter the sum of hundred Naira for member and 150 naira for Executives
iii) In a case of fighting it shall be handled by the sss and the committee in the case of fighting
